TENSES
PRESENT TENSE
1. Simple Present
In Nominal :
I/You/We/They/He/She/It + To Be ( is/am/are )
Example :
a. He is there every Tuesday.
b. They are at market every morning.
c. He is very lovely.
In Verb:
I/You/We/They/He/She/It + VERB 1 (s/es)
Example :
a. They go to cinema every Saturday night.
b. You study Biology at school.
c. She watches TV in the night.
In Interrogative:
Example : a. Are you a new student here ?
b. Do you speak English ?
In Negative:
Example : a. I am not a police.
b. She does not speak English well.
2. Present Continous Tense
In Nominal :
I/You/We/They/He/She/It + To Be ( is/am/are ) + Verb 1 (ing)
Example:
a. We are studying English now.
b. She is listening the radio.
In Interrogative:
Example : a. Are playing soccer ?
b. Is Beny watching TV ?
In Negative:
Example : a. He is not listening thr radio.
b. They are not standing there.
3. Present Perfect Tense
In Nominal :
I/You/We/They/He/She/It + Have/Has + been
Example:
a. She has been shot by me just now.
in Verb:
Example :
a. I have eaten.
In Interrogative:
Example : a. Have i shot the bird just now ?
b. Has she seduced me twice ?
In Negative:
Example : a. We have not killed the snake in the forest.
b. She has not seduced me twice.
